The Portfolio Center Wiki aims to teach and help any and all students and professionals build their creative portfolio by providing concise definitions, tips and advice on all the components of a creative portfolio.

This wiki was created by the staff of The Portfolio Center of Columbia College Chicago in 2007 with the hopes that we could provide students with a quick glossary of terms and directions that would help them build their portfolio from their body of work. As we have continued to expand, we have invited several people to join and help us by adding terms, definitions, tips and advice. The information here comes from professionals in the field and educators worldwide, in the hopes that all this perspective will provide a springboard to anyone looking to jump into a creative field.
