A Public Relations Portfolio, or PR Portfolio, tends to be a writing intensive portfolio that demonstrates a professional's skill in publicising events, services and goods. Common inclusions would be press releases, boilerplate text, any examples of published pieces and a resume.
PR Portfolio often take the form of a web portfolio since it's easier to categorize work by project on a website.
Many PR students bulk up their portfolios by volunteering for a non-profit client, as media outlets are often willing to cover organizations doing non-profit work and it is an excellent opportunity to collect additional portfolio samples.
