An actor's resume should display previous professional experience, similar to a traditional resume, however, an actor's resume generally includes the following:

  • Height and weight
  • Hair color and eye color
  • Vocal Range (if applying for a musical position)
  • Special Skills such as foreign languages, dialects and accents, and sports

Many actors choose to have seperate resumes for film, television and commercial work.

Since an actor's resume generally accompanies a headshot, many actors choose to print their resume information on the back of their headshot, or staple their resume to back in each of the four corners of the page.

While lying on a resume is always poor form, screen actors are STRONGLY encouraged to avoid embellishment of any kind; casting agents are known to utilize informational sites such as IMDB to verify previous experience.
